June Foto Funnies

He loves his sunglasses.  Especially indoors.

He wasn't happy when he realized he'd eaten all of his beans at lunch.

Still loving the bucket hat.

He loves watching Sesame Street in the morning.

He must have learned this from his daddy.

His new favorite game on the changing table is playing "where's Will?" with this book.

After a trip to my mom's house, she gave him two red solo cups to play with on the ride home.  There's only one left in this pic, but they immediately turned into hats.  (Shocking, I know.)

I was in the kitchen one morning when I heard Will start to cry.
I came over and found him like this.

He was fine, so it's okay that I laughed and took pictures before helping him.  Right?

Father's Day 2012

Father's Day was spent exactly how Wayne wanted it to be.
At home.
Doing nothing but watching the US Open.

We ate a sausage and egg casserole I made for breakfast.

We watched church live online, and (Wayne) counted down the hours until the US Open came on TV while watching whatever live feeds he could online.  It was our first Sunday together since Wayne got home from being out of town, and we enjoyed relaxing and being together.

Happy Father's Day, Wayne!  Every moment that I see you with Will makes me fall more and more in love with you.  You are an amazing daddy to Will and husband to me.  We are blessed to have you!

Welcome Home, Daddy!

After three long weeks of being apart (and a delayed flight home that almost didn't happen), our family is finally together again!  Will and I made it through our time alone without any accidents this year or any other major events.  Not to mention it's 100 times easier to be a temporary single mom of a one year old than it is a three month old!  And of course it helped that I have really great mommy friends to keep us busy during the week and fun weekend excursions to make the time go by faster.

Since Wayne's flight had been so majorly delayed, Will didn't get to see him until the next morning.  He might say "mama" to him in this video, but I assure you he soon started saying "dada" which is now his new favorite word!

Stevens Layne at Woodstock

My cousin Molly is in a band Stevens Layne, and they played a show in Woodstock that we got to go see.  They were amazing and really rocked it!  The crowd loved them!

*Disclaimer: my phone storage is always full and it freezes when taking video.  I thought it had stopped recording when I lowered the camera.  But at least you can still hear them, right?

(Like what you hear?  Follow them on Facebook and Twitter!)

Will jammed to the music while hanging out with my parents.

And Mr. Melnick (who we happened to run into!).

But I think he had the most fun when he was dancing.

I was so pumped to meet the band when they got off stage!

I love this pic.  For so many reasons.
But mostly Molly's face.  For obvious reasons.

The whole band!

Sisters, Moms, Daughters, Cousins.  I love these women.
Sorry, Molly... this is the only pic I had of us with our moms! :)

It was another late night for Will, but you never would have known.  If he's around people, he doesn't miss sleep (sleep hasn't been important to him since he was born!), and thankfully stays happy.  It was a special treat to see Aunt Deb, Uncle Mark, Molly and Whitney two weekends in a row!  We love y'all!
