The Great Georgia Air Show

My friend Katherine's husband Hank is a navy pilot, and he does air shows on the weekends sometimes.  He did the air show in Peachtree City a couple of weeks ago, and my whole family went to watch him fly the FA/18  Hornet.  Wayne was out of town, but my parents and brother went with me.  Katherine and I have been friends since third grade, and her parents couldn't wait to meet Will.  We were there for several hours, but it was great because I think the only time I held Will was when it was time for him to eat.  He did great, too.  He didn't seem to mind the big headphones on his head at all.  I took over 300 pictures, but I'll keep the ones I post to a minimum.  Well, at least I'll try.

If you've never been to an air show, I highly recommend going to one.  It was incredible to see what those planes can do!

Will had a lot of fun hanging out with his grandparents!

They played Top Gun music when Hank flew.  It was very fitting!

Will was clearly enthralled with the planes

He had fun with Mrs. Melnick!

Will made the newscast, too!  Check out the video here.

The air show was a great way to spend a gorgeous Saturday.  We can't wait to watch Hank fly again!
