Santa Claus

Will met Santa in early November.  Why so early, you ask?  I took him to meet Santa at Phipps Plaza with my friend Megan and her son Jackson.  Apparently people start reserving appointments for Santa at Phipps in August.  August.  So since I didn't request a reservation early enough, the only spots left were the second week of November.  Will was only 8 and a half months at the time. 

I didn't know what to expect, although I didn't think he'd be a crier.  He has never really cried when he meets strangers (until recently...as in the past week or two), so I wasn't too worried about his reaction.  He was really intrigued by the man with the long white beard and didn't want to stop looking at him!  It was so cute.  I was busy taking video of the experience for Wayne, who was out of town, and didn't think to try and get him to smile.  I love how the picture turned out, though.  

In the video, you'll see that when they snapped the picture, they were making all kinds of noises to get him to look at the camera.  The look on his face is like he's saying, "What are you fools doing?"  Cracks me up! 

It's hard to see in the video, but when he finally looked at the camera, this is what they got.

Can't wait to take him next year and see how he reacts!
