Father's Day 2011

We had a low-key Father's Day this year.  All Wayne wanted to do was watch the US Open at home, in his chair, near his golf clubs (I know he's not the only one who does practice swings while watching golf), on his TV, and with his sound system.  So that's what we did.  A whole lotta nothin'. :)

We did actually go to Wayne's aunt's house to get together briefly with his mom's family early in the afternoon.  It was nice because Wayne's uncle Robert finally got to meet Will.  And Will was excited to finally get to wear his golf jon jon in honor of his daddy and the US Open.  (It was a gift from our next door neighbors - I have looked EVERYWHERE for golf clothes for him.  They're so hard to find!)

Meeting Uncle Robert

Will always loves seeing his Bebe and Great-Grandmother Coffey!

Will is so blessed to have Wayne as his daddy.  I love having a front row seat at watching them interact with each other.  Will is fascinated with his daddy and always gets excited when he comes home from work.  Wayne is a fantastic father.  I always knew he would be, but seeing him in action is quite a privilege.  He helps me out when I need it, and loves spending time with Will and making him laugh.

It was definitely love at first sight for Wayne...can you tell?

I'll let pictures tell the rest of their love story. :)

As a wife and a mom, it doesn't get any better than that.

Happy First Father's Day to my favorite person, best friend, love of my life, and baby daddy.  You are a blessing to both Will and me, and we love you with all of our hearts!
