It was so exciting to wake Will up on his first Christmas morning! Of course, he won't remember it, but Wayne and I certainly enjoyed it.
Santa brought me a new lens for my camera, and I had fun using it on my favorite subject!
Two of my favorite ornaments.
This ornament made me tear up every time I looked at it. It was made by one of my best friends Melissa, who is in Africa for two years. What a special reminder it was for us to pray for her when we saw it on the tree.
Poor Gidget wondered if Santa forgot her...
After we had our family time, we went to Wayne's aunt Sandy's house to have Christmas brunch with his mom's side of the family. Will was happy to see his Bebe again!
Sandy has two little yorkies that Will couldn't get enough of! He was so cute looking and laughing at them. (Consider yourself warned...cute subject + new lens {+ non-professional-momarazzi-learning-new-lens-and-camera} = LOTS of {blurry} pictures!)
Poor Gracie didn't know what to think of Will. She sought refuge at her momma's feet.
LOVE.LOVE.LOVE.LOVE.LOVE.LOVE.LOVE.LOVE.LOVE.LOVE.LOVE.LOVE this one.
Will wasn't too excited about posing for this picture.
Then it was time to load back up and head over to Wayne's dad's family Christmas at his grandparents' house. Will had fun opening more presents.
Wayne's cousin Lauren is an extremely talented photographer, and she took pictures of the whole family on Christmas. Here are the seventeen grandchildren (plus Julia and me) and first great-grandchild in the Bishop family.
The whole Bishop clan.
Wayne's brothers Forest and Jeff, Wayne's dad, and Forest's girlfriend Julia with us and Will.
By the afternoon, the poor little guy hadn't had a nap all day and was wiped out! It's so rare for him to sleep in my arms, so I soaked up every second of it.
We enjoyed a great day with family and Will loved getting to see his grandparents, uncles and extended family. Before taking Will up to bed, I caught these two enjoying the tree.
{Be still my heart.}

This is just the best. He will so love it in when he is an adult. You go girl!
