Swing Set

For Will's first birthday, his granddads got together and gave him the best gift that he will love more and more as he gets older...a swing set!  The hope was that it would be built and ready to go in time for his birthday party, so Wayne's dad had 6 guys come over to help Wayne and him work on it the day before Will's party.

Eight guys + Eight hours of work = almost complete swing set.

Will was excited to test it out.

Even though the whole set wasn't complete, the swings were up, and that's all that mattered.  

It also came in handy while we were quarantined with hand, foot and mouth disease. 

 Will loves the swing!

Jackson came over one day to play on it while they were both recovering from HF&M disease.

Wayne spent a few more weekends working on it, and my dad helped a few Saturdays as well.  There are still a few accessories and a glider that need to be put on it for it to be complete, but that doesn't keep Will from enjoying it!

Thanks to all the guys who helped it morph from piles of wood in our basement to a full-blown swing set! Thanks Papa and Granddaddy for such a great gift!  Will is a lucky boy!
